The history of #Tlalancaleca is so significant that sites such as Teotihuacán are directly connected to it, as highlighted by the regional chronicler, Jesús Contreras Hernández, during the conference “Archaeological Heritage of the Valley of Texmelucan,” presented at the Municipal Community Museum.

At the event, presided over by the municipal leader Óscar Anguiano Martínez, it was announced that in collaboration with the Council of Chroniclers and the State Secretariat of Culture, efforts will be made to publish a book on the history of San Matías Tlalancaleca, in preparation for the centenary of its declaration as a municipality. The Honorable City Council emphasized the importance of providing educational institutions with bibliographic materials to help them understand the community’s past.

The event was also attended by the Secretary of the Council of Chroniclers in the state, Pedro Mauro Ramos Vázquez, along with chroniclers from the region and from the neighboring state of Tlaxcala.
